How we handle your data

What data we access

NextShelf connects to your Amazon Seller Central account via the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API). We access the data necessary to operate the services you've requested, including product listing data, inventory quantities, order information, and pricing data.

How order data (PII) is used

When processing orders, NextShelf retrieves buyer name and shipping address solely to support your fulfillment workflows — generating pick lists, packing slips, and shipment confirmations. This information is:

  • Used only for order fulfillment purposes within your authorized seller account
  • Never sold, shared, or used for marketing
  • Deleted within 30 days of order shipment
  • Accessible only to authorized employees on a need-to-know basis

How we protect your data

All Amazon data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Access is secured through Single Sign-On with mandatory Multi-Factor Authentication. We use Microsoft Azure's secure cloud infrastructure with zone-redundant storage and regular encrypted backups. Our systems are monitored 24/7 and subject to regular vulnerability scans and annual penetration testing.

Your rights

You may request removal of your data from NextShelf systems at any time by contacting us at demo@nextshelf.com. We will fulfill removal requests within 30 days.

Policy updates

This privacy summary reflects our current data practices. For a complete privacy policy or to report a data concern, please contact us directly. NextShelf's data handling practices are aligned with Amazon's Data Protection Policy and applicable regulations.

Security & Compliance Standards

  • HTTPS / TLS encryption on all data in transit
